For week 11, we replace at this week because next week, one of our members cannot attend this meeting because she will go to the Baksis Programme. So, we did two weeks meeting in one time (: enjoy the video!

A nice day to be told that...

Our third chosen book is Ender's Game. We have discussed some point that be asked through guide question. 

So the new words that we learned from this Ender's Game novel are :

• TOUSLED - make (something, esp. a person'd hair) untidy.

• HORRID - causing horror, dreadful.

• GLINT - a momentary flash of light; a sparkle.

• GROIN - the crease or hollow at the junction of the inner part of each tight with the trunk, together with the adjacent region and often including the external genitals.

• SPASM - a sudden, involuntary contraction of a muscle or groups of muscles.

• UNCLENCHED - release (a clenched part of the body)

• RESCIND - revoke, cancel, or repeal (a law, order, or agreement)

Sometimes this novel can be totally amazing by asked us to think out of the box and beyond our imagination level and this really give us a big enjoyment.

JOURNAL WEEK 6

hello!

for the second book which is Twilight Saga, we were discussed and recorded the video at the same day because next week we have not much time to have a meeting and then mid sem break. So thats why we decided to replace next meeting and have meeting for two weeks in one day.

1. Last week we have a task to read Twilight Saga and we read it. Good to us because our discussion will be more easier.

2.By looking the guide question, we were shared our opinion.

3.This novel is interesting but some part hard to understand the situation.

4.New words that we learned from this novel are :

• DISPARAGING - expressing negative or low opinion (something like critic) 

•  ECCENTRIC - conspicuously or unusual
• TRANSLUCENT - allowing light pass through diffusely
• DRONE - talk in monotonous voice
• UNISON - happening together or simultaneously 

•  SKEPTICAL - given a doubt

•  GLUM - moody or melancholic or sad
• APPALLED - struck with fear or dread

We have decide to discuss about Hunger Games.Before we go this meeting we had read Hunger games.Although three members from us not understand at all but they can know the flow of the story.So that time we shared and discussed about the story.

•  NOXIOUS - harmful or hurtful

We had a first meeting at seventeenth college.So at that time we having a chat and know each other.Here is our group members:

We decided to choose Zulaidah as a leader to our group.We not confirm yet to choose what type of novel to discuss together.But we have put five novels in our list to discuss.There are The Hunger Games (including book 2 and 3), Twilight Saga, Alice in The Wonderland, Romeo and Juliet and Enders Game.
